In this video I will be covering a weight loss plan from an engineering perspective, and my progress over my weight loss journey. The first step is determining how much you should weigh, given your age, sex and height: Next, based on your ideal weight, and how quickly you would like to lose weight you can calculate your calorie intake for the duration of your weight loss journey. Note: It is generally recommended to lose 1-2 pounds per week. If you are interested in trying the healthy, hearty stew I am using for my primary diet, the recipe is here: 8 pounds of meat (I used 4lb Beef Chuck Roast, 2lb Ham, 2lb chicken) 4 medium gold potatoes 1 can of black beans 1 box of Japanese curry mix (I used HOT) 1 cup of brown rice 1 can of fire roasted corn 1 can of diced tomatoes 1 can of diced tomato and chilies (lots of flavor here, very important) 2 large carrots 1 bell pepper, any color 6 garlic cloves (or more if you like garlic) 4 celery stalks ½ white onion 1 bunch of cilantro Salt, pepper, and whatever spices you would like to add Boil the meat for 1 hour, scoop any foam or junk that floats to the top. Remove meat and cut it up, then put it back in the water same water with the rice, onions, carrots and garlic, and boil that for an hour. Add everything else and boil for another hour. Done. Simple.
