My typical high protein, plant-based breakfast during my Zepbound weight loss journey. It includes black coffee, 32 g of protein from a plant-based shake, and plant-bssed Greek yogurt (17 grams of protein) with fresh fruit and cinnamon or PB2. It’s pretty basic, but it’s fast and easy. And the whole thing is about 50 g of protein to start off my day! Plus, I get so loads of vitamins, minerals, and fiber on top of the fabulous protein. I have been on the GLP-1 tirzepatide medication Zepbound for three months now. I am down about 21 pounds (slow snd steady, baby) and this is how I put protein first, fiber second, and then fruits and vegetables. I quit eating meat in 1983, and have been strictly plant-based about half of that time, the rest of the time being a very strict vegetarian. I have been fully re-committed to being 100% plant-based for over 10 years now. I have always loved being active, exercise, and doing my best to eat healthy. However, when I hit #perimenopause, my weight jumped drastically, even though I continued to exercise and count calories. I did everything my doctor and gym trainer asked of me, for a decade, and nothing worked. I exercised obsessively and unsustainably. So, now, I’m so grateful to Eli Lilly and their creation of tirzepatide because I am starting to get my life back! I tried fasting, I tried countless diets, I always kept a food journal and exercised a minimum of an hour a day for 5 to 7 days a week. It didn’t work for me snymkre, once I hit age 42-43. So this is my journey! And you are absolutely welcome here! You don’t have to be on Zepbound. Or any GLP-1. And you don’t have to be plant-based. Maybe you are curious about being an herbivore and you’re here to see what I eat. Or maybe you are on Zepbound or Wegovy or Monjaro or Ozempic, but you are tired of your standard high protein meals and you want some alternatives. Or maybe you are plant-based and you’re just looking for high protein meals. Whoever you are, you are welcome! 🤗 I just ask that you please like and subscribe. I really need the motivation right now. I really need the encouragement. It would mean a lot to me to know that people care about what I am trying to do. I just want to inspire people and share my experiences. And I hope that, in turn, people will share some of their back. Stay beautiful! 👉👉👉I am not a doctor. I am a patient sharing my experiences with you and I would love to hear some of yours in return. Please like and subscribe and let’s support and encourage each other. NOTE: all music and sound effects on my videos are used with permission because I have paid for them via Uppbeat. Whenever possible, I also like to mention the exact artist who created the music/sounds although this is not required. I love to pay other artists for their artistry.
